Brett Colonell suffered a complete SCI at the level of C-4/C-5 during the summer of 1997 rendering him paralyzed from the neck down.  From that point in time, with some assistance from others, he has had to tackle tasks completely hands free from his chair.  This includes finishing a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and later earning an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver.  

Some of Brett's favorite artists are Nicolai Fechin, Joseph Zbukvic, John Singer Sargent and Frank Frazetta.  He enjoys working digitally on his iPad, and using ink and watercolor for traditional mediums.
